Cowboys WR Terrance Williams said he is not worried aboutย future, even though he’s in the final year of his rookie contract.

“Iโ€™m just ready to be quiet and work and let my play speak for it, because you can always talk what youโ€™re going to do and then if it doesnโ€™t go as planned, itโ€™s like a slap to your face,” Williams said, via ESPN.com. “So Iโ€™m just ready to work and just show my play.

Lions

Lions QB Matthew Stafford said he can’t see WRย Calvin Johnson coming out ofย retirement and returning to the team.

โ€œIn my mind, I donโ€™t see that happening,โ€ Stafford said, via DetroitLions.com. โ€œHe retired because he wanted to. Thatโ€™s it.โ€
  • Dave Birkett reports thatย Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for CB Darius Slay andย ILB Stephen Tulloch, is at the Lions’ practice facility Thursday.
  • Slay is looking for a long-term extension and Tulloch’s status with the team has been in question for months now.
