NFL Notes: Dominique Easley, Draft, Bears, & Jets

Dominique Easley

Two league sources tell Ben Volin of the Boston Globe that former Patriots DL Dominique Easley is โ€œa 25-year-old in a 40-year-oldโ€™s body.โ€

A former teammate told Volin that Easley wasnโ€™t a very mature player during his time with the Patriots.

โ€œSaw that coming,โ€ said one of Easleyโ€™s former Patriots teammates regarding the news of his release. โ€œInjuries and locker room cancer.โ€

According to one of Volinโ€™s sources, the Patriots โ€œnever liked him from the get-go, and part of the problem was he would never listen to the medical advice.โ€

  • According to Jeff Howe, Easleyโ€™s knees are in โ€œpretty bad shape, and thereโ€™s not a lot of room for improvement.โ€
