NFL Notes: Draft, 49ers, Bears, Cowboys, & Raiders

Draft

• Washington State QB Connor Halliday is visiting with the Redskins. (Aaron Wilson)
• Penn State OT Donovan Smith is visiting the 49ers. (Aaron Wilson)
• According to Dane Brugler, USC CB Josh Shaw could be an option for the Cowboys in round two or three if they choose to address a different position in the first round.

49ers

• Oregon DL Arik Armstead is among a number of players taking pre-draft visits to San Francisco to meet with the 49ers. (Matt Maiocco)

Bears

• Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears have a pre-draft visit with Florida State DL Mario Edwards Jr.

Cowboys

• Ian Rapoport reports that the Cowboys are working out Oregon State QB Sean Mannion on Wednesday.

Raiders

• Adam Caplan reports that the Raiders decision to sign WR Michael Crabtree does not impact whether or not they’ll take a receiver in the first round of this year’s draft.
