NFL Notes: Draft, Buccaneers, Raiders, Ravens, Steelers, & Vikings


  • The Jets, Lions, Redskins, Steelers, Titans, Ravens, and 49ers were all in attendance for Hobart OL Ali Marpet’s pro-day, according to Tony Pauline. Marpet reportedly has nine visits and 15 private workouts on his schedule.


  • Adam Caplan reports that the Buccaneers have been in the market for a defensive end for a while now and even offered Trent Cole a “huge deal” that included more money than what he got from the Colts.



  • Tony Pauline reports that the Ravens are hoping Washington CB Marcus Peters will be available for them later in Round one


  • Josh Norris of NBC Sports is hearing buzz that that the Steelers’ top two selections are likely to be on the defensive side of the ball with them grabbing a tight end shortly afterwards.


  • Darren Wolfson reports that Broncos restricted free agent CB Tony Carter is on the Vikings radar a “tad” in the event they don’t draft a cornerback.
