- Jason Cole of B/R spoke to three general managers around the league who believe the Cardinals decision to hire Jen Welter as an assistant coach was a positive move for the league as a whole.
- Cole’s sources added that they’ve never had a female applicant for coaching position in the past.
- NFL teams are reportedly interested to know how many qualified female coaches are actually out there and qualified to coach in the NFL.
Muhammad Wilkerson
- Brian Costello of the New York Post reports that Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson is expected to report to training camp on time Wednesday.
- According to Costello, the two sides are still far apart on a long-term contract extension.
Buccaneers
