NFL Notes: Jaguars, Rams, & Vikings

Jaguars

• Jaguars placed DT Sen’Derrick Marks and DB James Sample on the active/PUP list.
• Jaguars placed DL Nordly Capi on the active/non-football injury list.

Rams

• Rams GM Les Snead said during an interview Tuesday that first-round RB Todd Gurley has passed his conditioning test, and should be able to progress to football activities soon. (Myles Simmons)

Vikings

Vikings S Harrison Smith admitted that he’s unlikely to sign an extension with the team before the start of the regular season.

“I’m fine with it,” Smith said of the Vikings holding off on a contract extension, via Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. “Rick (Spielman) and I kind of talked about it (during spring drills) about that’s what I thought would happen.”

Smith did, however, make it clear that he wants to remain in Minnesota long-term.

“There’s no doubt this is where I want to be,” Smith said.
