Before signing on with the Bears, veteran G Josh Sitton said there were around “15 or 16 teams” who contacted him after he was released by the Packers.
“Probably 15 or 16 teams called. Of the ones that were truly serious, there were probably four or five,” Sitton said, via Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune.
Broncos
- Even though the Broncos are releasing S Shiloh Keo from the reserve/suspended list, Troy Renck mentioned that it’s possible Denver could bring him back at some point if needed.
Chiefs
- Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles is expected to make his debut in Week 3 against the Jets.
Jets
Jets HC Todd Bowles mentioned that he isn’t concerned with veteran CB Darrelle Revis, despite some struggles this year.
“He gave up two plays,” Bowles said, via Newsday. “I don’t think that’s an indication of the whole season. He gave up two plays and he knows he doesn’t want to give them up, we know we don’t want him to give them up. We’ve got to correct it and move on, and he’ll be better.”
Ravens
- Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Ravens OLB Elvis Dumervil is aiming for a Week 3 return for the team’s game against the Jaguars.
