San Antonio city manager Sheryl Sculley mentioned that that they’ve continued discussions with the Raiders about possibly relocating the team.
“We have certainly raised the attention of the NFL,” Sculley said, via the San Antonio Business Journal. “…We are following closely what is going on in California. We expect to hear what [the Raiders’] plans are for the 2016 season after that meeting.”
Bills
- Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News considers QB Matt Cassel to be the “likely choice” to start the season under center for the Bills.
Texans
- Ed Werder of ESPN reports that Texans RB Arian Foster is seeking medical opinions and the team is unsure how long he will be out at the moment.
Vikings
- According to Ben Goessling, Vikings LB Audie Cole has been getting a “long look” at middle linebacker this summer.
