Super Bowl LI

• The NFL announced Thursday that Super Bowl LI will be hosted in Houston on February 5, 2017.

Falcons

• Falcons LB Joplo Bartu will be fined $50,000 after his two-game suspension was rescinded by the NFL, according to Ian Rapoport.

Jaguars

• Jaguars first-round pick DE Dante Fowler is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his torn left ACL next week. (Ryan O’Halloran)

Packers

• Packers signed undrafted free agent CB Travis Manning to a contract.

Panthers

• Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reports that Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin strained his hamstring last week.
• Benjamin is likely to sit out of next week’s OTAS.
