NFL Notes: Tom Brady, Bengals, Broncos & Raiders

Tom Brady

• Tom Brady‘s hearing has concluded after 10 hours of proceedings. No further hearings are scheduled at this time. (Ian Rapoport)
• Tom Peliserro reports that Troy Vincent, Ted Wells, and a scientific expert were called upon by the NFLPA as witnesses.

Bengals

• Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland gives recently acquired WR Terrelle Pryor a five percent chance at making the active roster.

Broncos

Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth shot down a rumor that included the Broncos trading Peyton Manning to the Texans this offseason.

The report originally surfaced from Benjamin Allbright of 94.1 FM in Denver, who said that he has sources within the Broncos and Texans organizations who revealed a trade was in the works.

Allbright also went on to mention that “certain elements” within the Broncos are ready for backup QB Brock Osweiler to start.

However, Allbright also admitted that he had yet to receive official on-the-record statement from either organization prior to Smyth quickly denying the rumor.

Raiders

• According to Scott Bair of CSN Bay Area, wide receivers Andre Holmes and Kenbrell Thompkins are competing for the No. 4 role.
