Wes Welker

• Tom Pelissero reports that the Rams signed WR Wes Welker to a one-year contract that’s worth a maximum of $956,471 if he reaches incentives included in the agreement.
• Welker receives a $200,000 signing bonus, according to Pelissero.
• Rams HC Jeff Fisher said that a decision whether Welker will play in Week 10’s game will probably be a “Saturday night or Sunday morning decision.” (Nick Wagoner)

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Cardinals worked out CB Jordan Mabin on Wednesday.

Chiefs

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Chiefs worked out OT Caylin Hauptmann, DE B.J. McBryde, and WR Larry Pinkard on Wednesday.

Seahawks

• Field Yates reports that the Seahawks recently gave DB DeShawn Shead a $25,000 signing bonus, despite making no other alterations to his contract.
