Patriots

• Ben Volin writes that Patriots LB Jerod Mayo is officially an unrestricted free agent now that New England has officially declined his option.
• However, Mayo has said previously that he intends to retire as a Patriot.

Rams

• The Rams have re-signed S Cody Davis to a two-year extension, per Vincent Bonsignore.

• Although Aaron Wilson points out that the Ravens did not tender an offer to restricted free agent S Brynden Trawick, there is still a possibility that they will bring him back.
