Shaq Lawson

  • Bills’ first-round pick DE Shaq Lawson refuted Adam Schefter’s report that he will require surgery on his shoulder at some point and possibly after the 2016 season. (Vic Carucci)

Broncos

  • Troy Renck notes that Memphis QB Paxton Lynch‘s addition likely ends the pursuit of Colin Kaepernick and Sam Bradford, but it is still possible for the team to sign a veteran quarterback.

Cardinals

  • Kent Somers mentions that it will be interesting to see what happens with DE Calais Campell, who is entering the final year of his contract now that used their first-round pick on DE Robert Knemdiche.

Cowboys

  • Ed Werder reports that the Cowboys made an attempt to trade back into the first round to select Paxton Lynch.
  • According to Werder, the Cowboys spent more time meeting with and evaluating Lynch than any other NFL team leading up to the draft.

Vikings

  • Vikings GM Rick Spielman said four teams inquired about trading for the team’s No. 23 overall pick, but were not offering enough. (Ben Goessling)
