NFL Rumors: Josh Allen, Trade Candidates, Draft

Josh Allen

• According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Wyoming QB Josh Allen and his reps have been on the phone with NFL teams all morning explaining what happened in regards to the offensive tweets that surfaced Wednesday night.
• Rapoport says that Allen was quoting rap songs and television shows and movies in some of the offensive tweets. However, others were tweets being sent to his friends.
• As of now, Rapoport reports that it doesn’t seem like Allen is going to fall in the draft, and if he does, it’s unlikely that the tweets will be the reason for the drop.

Trade Candidates

• Dan Graziano of ESPN takes a look at five players who could be traded during the 2018 draft.
• Graziano’s list includes Seahawks S Earl Thomas, Steelers WR Martavis Bryant, Giants OT Ereck Flowers, Eagles LB Mychal Kendricks and Jets QB Teddy Bridgewater.

Draft

• Lance Zierlein mentions that the Buccaneers are poised to get one of the top three players in this draft at pick 7 based on the potential movement for quarterbacks.
• Les Bowen believes Michigan DT Maurice Hurst is likely to slide “big time” down the 2018 NFL Draft considering that teams around the league are “really concerned” about the prospects’ heart condition.
