NFL Sets Key 2022 Offseason Dates For Free Agency & Draft

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the NFL and NFLPA have officially agreed to some key offseason dates for the 2022 league year.

NFL dates to watch next year include:

• Franchise/Transition tag period: February 22 – March 8
• 2021 League Year ends at 3:59:59 pm EST on March 16
• 2022 League year begins at 4 pm EST on March 16
• Start of offseason workouts for teams with a new head coach is April 4
• Start of offseason workouts for all other teams is April 18
• Last day for restricted free agents to sign with other teams is April 22
• Last day for teams to match offer sheets for restricted free agents is April 27
• 2022 NFL Draft is April 28-30

More key dates for the NFL calendar will be released in the coming months, but these are the notable offseason dates to watch every year.
