The Detroit Lions claimed DB Isa Abdul-Quddus off of waivers from the New Orleans Saints on Monday.
Today marks the first day of the waiver period, which is why we haven’t heard much about waiver claims in the past few weeks.
Abdul-Quddus, 24, was waived by the Saints a little less than a month ago and will be a restricted free agent in the coming months. He played 98 snaps for the Saints defense in 2013, but was largely relegated to contributing on special teams.
