Packers Activate OT Alex Light From Exempt List

The NFL officially lifted the Packers’ roster exemption for OT Alex Light, who was on the exempt/commissioner permission list following his recent suspension.

Light was suspended one game for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. He takes the roster spot of DT Kenny Clark, who was placed on injured reserve (NFLTR).

Light, 22, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Packers and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

In 2018, Light has been active for two games.
