Aaron Wilson reports that the Packers have claimed OLB Tim Williams off of waivers from the Ravens on Wednesday.
Green Bay placed TE Evan Baylis on waivers to make room for Williams.
Williams, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2017. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.39 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $690,000 and $790,000 over the final two years of the agreement.
The Ravens made the decision to move on from Williams on Tuesday after working out a number of linebackers.
In 2019, Williams has appeared in four games for the Ravens and recorded two tackles and no sacks.
