Packers Designate CB Makinton Dorleant As Player To Return From I.R.

According to Jason Wilde, the Packers are designating CB Makinton Dorleant as their player that will come off the team’s injured reserve.

This officially opens a three-week window for Dorleant to be activated from injured reserve.

This will result in RB Eddie Lacy and CB Sam Shields remaining on injured reserve for the remainder of the 2016 season.

Dorleant, 24, signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Iowa. He wound up making the team’s 53-man roster but landed on the injured reserve after sustaining a hamstring injury during the preseason.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
