Packers DT Letroy Guion Suspended Four Games For PED Violation

Field Yates reports that Packers DT Letroy Guion has been suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Adam Caplan points out that Guion had a $400,000 roster bonus due on Saturday.

Guion, 29, is entering the second year of his three-year, $11.25 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $1.7 million for the 2017 season with $800,000 available in roster bonuses.

In 2016, Guion appeared in 15 games for the Packers and recorded 30 total tackles and one pass defense. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 63 interior defender out of 127 qualifying players.
