Packers OT Bryan Bulaga Avoids Serious Injury

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Packers OT Bryan Bulaga avoided re-injuring his ACL in his right knee when someone rolled into it during Sunday night’s game.

Bulaga had previously torn the ACL in that knee in 2017. He could miss a game or two but Demovsky says he is expected to return this season.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports that Bulaga has an MCL injury and is undergoing an MRI to determine the exact severity of the injury.

Bulaga, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He’s currently in the final year of his five-year, $33.75 million contract and stands to make a base salary of  $5.8 million in 2019.

In 2019, Bulaga has started in 11 games for the Packers and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 16 offensive tackle out of 76 qualifying players.
