Field Yates reports that the Packers placed CB Kevin King and RB Tre Carson on injured reserve and claimed DE Fadol Brown from the Raiders and DB Natrell Jamerson from the Texans on Wednesday.
King, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2017 after they elected to trade down with the Saints. For moving back a few spots, the Packers picked up an additional fourth-round pick that they used on OLB Vince Biegel.
King is in the second year of his four-year, $7.08 million contract and set to make base salaries of $1.109 million and $1.43 million over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2018, King appeared in six games for the Packers and recorded 17 tackles, one interception, a fumble recovery and two pass defenses.
Jamerson, 22, was selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft by the Saints. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Texans.
Unfortunately, Houston elected to waive Jamerson on Tuesday.
In 2018, Jamerson has appeared in 10 games for the Texans and recorded seven tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
