Packers Placing CB Davon House On Injured Reserve

Ian Rapoport reports that the Packers are placing CB Davon House on injured reserve.

  • According to Rob Demovsky, House is expected to undergo shoulder surgery.

This explains why the Packers brought in some notable cornerbacks for visits on Tuesday including Bashaud Breeland and David Amerson (NFLTR).

House, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2011. He spent four years in Green Bay before signing a four-year, $24.5 million contract that included $10 million guaranteed with the Jaguars back in 2015.

Unfortunately, the Jaguars elected to cut House loose last year and he later returned to Green Bay on a one-year, $2.8 million contract. The Packers brought House back this past April on a one-year contract.

In 2018, House appeared in three games for the Packers and recorded two tackles and no interceptions or pass defenses.
