Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy wants to get running back James Starks involved in the team’s Week 5 gameplan.
“This is the week we want him to push through & see if we can get him the ball,” McCarthy said, via Tyler Dunne.
Starks has yet to see action this season after missing the first-four games of the season because of a turf toe injury. The 2-2 Packers face the 1-2 Indianapolis Colts, ranked an average 18th in rush defense, on Sunday. Cedric Benson has done a solid job as the team’s leading tailback, so Starks likely won’t see many carries coming his way.
