The Green Bay Packers officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent RB Don Jackson on Wednesday.
Jackson, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada. Green Bay waived him in July but later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the season.
After sustaining some injuries at running back, the Packers called himย during the season before placing him on injured reserve soon after.
In 2016, Jackson appeared in three games for the Packers and ran for 32 yards on 10 carries (3.2 YPC) and no touchdowns.
