The Green Bay Packers have signed seventh-round DL Jonathan Garvin to a contract on Sunday, according to Barry Jackson.
This is the first of the Packers’ nine draft picks to sign their rookie contracts:

Garvin, 20, was a two-year starter at Miami. The Packers selected him with the No. 242 pick in the seventh round last month.
Garvin is projected to sign a four-year, $3,374,279 contract that includes a $79,279 signing bonus.
During his college career at Miami, Garvin recorded 106 tackles, 29 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, four recoveries, a defensive touchdown and five passes defended over the course of three seasons and 32 games.
