The Packers announced Monday they have waived S Mike Tyson from the active roster with an injury designation, signing CB Jackson Porter in a corresponding move.
If Tyson clears waivers, he’ll revert to Green Bay’s injured reserve list. The Packers claimed him off waivers from the Texans in May.

Tyson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason last year before signing on to the Seahawks practice squad and eventually being promoted in December.
The Seahawks, once again, waived Tyson at the start of the 2018 regular season and he elected to sign on to the Texans’ practice squad. Houston promoted him to their active roster in October before cutting him loose in May, 2019.
In 2018, Tyson appeared in 10 games for the Texans and recorded five tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
