The Green Bay Packers officially placed LB David Talley on waivers Friday.
Talley, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Grand Valley State back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement when the Packers waived him with an injury designation at the start of the season.
After clearing waivers, Talley reverted to the Packers’ injured reserve list where he remained for the entire 2017 season.
Talley has yet to appear in an NFL game.
