Josh Tolentino of the Athletic reports that the Packers are waiving second-year OLB Vince Biegel on Saturday as their cut their roster down to 53 players.

Biegel, 25, was selected with the No. 108 overall pick by the Packers in last year’s NFL Draft. Green Bay actually got this pick for trading out of round one with the Browns.
Biegel signed a four-year contract worth $3,093,748 and stands to make base salaries ofย $555,000 and $645,000 over the next two years.
During his college career at Wisconsin, Biegel recorded 131 tackles, 28.5 tackles for a loss, 15 sacks, two forced fumbles and three pass defenses over the course of 36 games.
