The Green Bay Packers officially waived OT Kyle Murphy from injured reserve on Thursday.
Murphy, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.4 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.
The Packers placed Murphy on injured reserveย with a foot injury back in September.
In 2017, Murphy appeared in three games for the Packers and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 54 offensive tackle out of 72 qualifying players.
