Packers Waive RB Lavon Coleman

The Packers announced Monday they’ve waived RB Lavon Coleman.

Coleman, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Washington in 2018. He lasted just a few months in Houston before he was waived later signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad.

Coleman eventually joined the Packers’ taxi squad in October. He was promoted to the active roster for one game late in the season, but did not record a stat. 

During his college career at Washington, Coleman rushed for 2,000 yards on 374 carries (5.3 YPC) to go alogn with 31 receptions for 252 yards receiving and 15 total touchdowns over the course of 46 games.
