Packers Waive S Chris Banjo From Injured Reserve With Settlement

The Green Bay Packers officially waived S Chris Banjo from injured reserve on Monday with an injury settlement.

Banjo, 26, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of SMU back in 2013. He lasted just a few months with Jacksonville before he was cut and later signed by the Packers.

Banjo returned to the Packers on an exclusive rights deal back in April. However, the Packers elected to place him on injured reserve last week.

In 2016, Banjo has appeared in two games and recorded two tackles and no interceptions for the Packers.
