According to Howard Balzer, the Green Bay Packers worked out seven players on Tuesday.
The full list includes:
- CB David Amerson
- CB Bashaud Breeland
- CB Arrion Springs
- OT Anthony Coyle
- OT Gerhard de Beer
- OT Tony Garcia
- DL Quinton Dial
Of this group, the Packers signed Breeland to a contract and added Coley to their practice squad.
Dial, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was entering the second year of a four-year, $12.675 million contract that included $5.3 million guaranteed when the 49ers released him last summer.
The Packers signed him to a one-year contract a few days later and he finished out the year in Green Bay.
Since becoming a free agent, Dial met with the Lions and Seahawks but left both meetings without an agreement.
In 2017, Dial appeared in 13 games for the Packers and recorded 19 tackles, no sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 112 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.
