According to Joe Person, the Panthers have activated DE Yetur Gross-Matos from the COVID-19 list.
The Panthers had a number of players on the list coming off their bye week but they’re slowly regaining strength ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Broncos.
Gross-Matos, 22, was a two-year starter at Penn State and earned first-team All-Big Ten honors last season. The Panthers selected him with No. 38 overall pick in this year’s draft.
Gross-Matos signed a four-year, $8,198,804 rookie contract that includes a $3,522,767 signing bonus.
In 2020, Gross-Matos has appeared in eight games for the Panthers and recorded 16 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.
