The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that they’ve activated WR Fred Ross from the PUP list after he passed a physical and signed DE Sterling Bailey.
The Panthers also waived DT Ashad Mabry.
Ross, 23, wound up signing on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State following this year’s draft. Ross signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $465,000 for the 2018 season.
During his four-year college career at MSU, Ross caught 199 passes for 2,528 yards receiving to go along with 87 rushing yards and 23 total touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
