The Carolina Panthers announced Saturday that they’ve claimed C John Yarbrough off waivers from the Browns and placed tackle Dillon Gordon on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
Yarbrough (6-4, 302) wound up going undrafted out of Richmond back in May. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Browns a few weeks ago.
However, the Browns elected to place Yarbrough on waivers Friday.
During his college career, Yarbrough appeared in 39 career games with 28 starts. He was a 2018 All-CAA second-team selection.
