The Carolina Panthers officially claimed DB T.J. Green off of waivers from the Saints on Thursday and placed OT Garrett McGhin on injured reserve.
Green, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Colts back in 2016. He spent just over two years in Indianapolis before he was waived at the start of the 2018 season.
The Seahawks later signed Green to their roster before placing him on the left squad list in October. From there, the Saints signed him to a contract this past summer.
Green was waived at the start of the regular season and had a brief stint on their practice squad before being called up last week. New Orleans waived him on Wednesday.
In 2017, Green appeared in all 16 games for the Colts and recorded 45 tackles, no interceptions and one pass defense.
