Joe Person reports neither player has tested positive yet but both were in close contact with infected individuals.
Carolina returned to its facility to practice today and the game this week against the Saints remains on as scheduled for the time being.
Scott is the third Panthers offensive lineman to be placed on the list in the past few days, so that’s something to keep an eye on going forward.
Slye, 24, signed with the Giants after going undrafted out of Virginia Tech following the 2019 NFL Draft. He was waived in May before being brought back in July and waived again.
Slye caught on with the Panthers last August as a camp leg but ended up taking the starting job after K Graham Gano landed on injured reserve. He re-signed with the team this offseason.
In 2020, Slye has made 16/18 field goal attempts (88.8 percent). Slye has also made 10/12 extra-point attempts.
