Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer reports that the Panthers are promoting FBย Alex Armah to their active roster on Tuesday.
Armah, 23, was taken in the sixth-round of this year’s draft by the Panthers. He signed a four-year, $2.55 million contract with Carolina but was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Panthers later signed him to their practice squad.
Armah actually played defensive end/linebacker/tight end/ and H-back during his college career at West Georgia.
