The Carolina Panthers announced Wednesday that they’ve tender a contract to exclusive rights free agent DE Bryan Cox Jr. for the 2019 season.
This ensures that Cox will be back in Carolina for the 2019 season.
Cox, 24, wound up signing on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason but was later added to their practice squad and eventually promoted to the Panthers’ active roster.
Cos managed to make the 53-man roster last year.
In 2018, Cox appeared in 11 games and recorded 10 tackles and no sacks for the Panthers.
