The Carolina Panthers announced that they’ve re-signed WR DeAndrew White to a one-year contract on Wednesday.
White, 28, wound up going undrafted out of Alabama back in 2015 before signing a three-year, $1.582 million contract with the 49ers. He lasted just a few months in San Francisco before signing on to the Patriots’ practice squad a few weeks into the regular season.
From there, White played for the Texans and Broncos before joining the Panthers during the 2018 season. Carolina declined to tender White a restricted offer last week, making him an unrestricted free agent.
In 2019, White appeared in 10 games for the Panthers and caught four passes for 51 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also totaled 226 kick return yards.
