The Carolina Panthers released WR R.J. Webb on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Webb, 26, signed with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Furman last year. He unfortunately suffered a torn ACL and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve last year.
The Panthers have signed a few receivers in recent weeks, and could add more depth in the draft.
