The Carolina Panthers announced the signing of G Ricky Henry on Wednesday, as well as the release of Cย Ronald Patrick.

Henry, 27, originally signed on with theย Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska back in 2011. He spent over a year in Chicago before he was waived at the start of the 2012 season and later caught on the with the Saints.
The Chiefs wound eventually claim him off of waivers and signed him to a future/reserve contract in December of last year. However, he was released shortly after the draft.
Henry hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2012 season when he was with the Chiefs.
Patrick, 23,ย signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in May of last year. He wound up on the team’s practice squad after he was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason. He played for the Steelers briefly before joining the Panthers in May.
