The Carolina Panthers signed S Marcus Ball and placed S Kimario McFadden on waivers to make room for their new addition.

Ball, 27, signed as a free agent with the Argonauts back in February of 2012. He spent two years with the Argonauts and totaled 142 tackles, seven sacks, four interceptions, two returned for touchdowns and three fumble recoveries over this time.
New Orleans wound up signing him to a three-year contract in April of last year and Ball would go on to appear in 12 games and recorded 16 tackles for the Saints.
However, the Saints placed Ball on waivers a few weeks ago following the Draft.
