The Carolina Panthers announced that they have signed WR/return specialist Greg Dortch off the Jets’ practice squad to their active roster.

Dortch, 21, signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest back in May. He was waived coming out of the preseason and signed on with New York’s practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.
During his college career, Dortch recorded 142 receptions for 1,800 yards receiving (12.7 YPC) and one touchdown to go along with 45 punt returns for 438 yards (9.7 YPR) and two touchdowns to go along with 36 kickoff returns for 773 yards (21.5 YPR) and no touchdowns.
