Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.
Frazier, 23, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis back in May of last year. However, he was unfortunately among the team’s final roster cuts as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit.
Denver later signed him to their practice squad after he cleared waivers but was waived back in October. The Bills later signed him to their practice squad but cut him after spending just over a week with the team.
The 49ers added him to their practice squad in November but had his contract expire last week.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his three-year college career at Memphis, Frazier recorded 135 receptions for 1,599 yards receiving and eight touchdown receptions. He also accumulated 29 rushing attempts for 203 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
