The Carolina Panthers have placed a second-round tender on RFA RT Mike Remmers, according to his agent Brett Tessler.

The second-round tender will cost the Panthers $2.553 millionย for the 2016 season and net them a second-round pick if he receives an offer sheet from another team, and they elect to pass on matching it.
Remmers, 25, originally signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2012. He has also spent time with the Buccaneers, Chargers, Vikings and Rams before the Panthers signed him off of St. Louis’ย practice squad back in 2014.
In 2015,ย Remmers appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers and wasย rated byย Pro Football Focusย as the No. 43 offensive tackleย out of 77 qualifying players.
