Panthers Waive KR Ray-Ray McCloud, Release Tyron Johnson From PS

The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday that they’ve waived KR Ray-Ray McCloud and released WR Tyron Johnson from their practice squad.

McCloud, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Bills back in 2018. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.6 million contract when he was waived by the Bills coming out of the preseason.

The Panthers claimed McCloud off of waivers soon after.

In 2019, McCloud has appeared in six games for the Panthers and totaled 174 kick return yards and 82 punt return yards.
