The Panthers announced on Sunday they have waived RB Jordan Scarlett.

Scarlett was a fifth-round pick just last year. His release clears a spot on the roster for K/P Kaare Vedvik.
Scarlett, 25, was selected with the fifth round out of Florida in 2019. He was entering the second year of a four-year, $2.8M contract.
In 2019, Scarlett appeared in nine games for the Panthers and rushed for nine yards on four carries (2.3 YPC) and no touchdowns.
