The Panthers announced Tuesday they’ve waived WR Mose Frazier from their 90-man roster.
Frazier broke his arm during the first week of voluntary OTA’s. His departure makes room on the roster for DT Gerald McCoy.
Frazier, 24, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis back in May of 2016. He was unfortunately among the team’s final roster cuts as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit but later signed on to the Broncos’ practice squad for a bit.
Frazier had brief stints on the Bills and 49ers’ practice squads in 2016 before being signed away by the Panthers.
The Panthers signed Frazier to a future/reserve contract this past January only to waive him coming out of the preseason and later sign him to their practice squad. He spent time bouncing between the practice squad and the active roster for the Panthers in 2017 and 2018.
Frazier appeared in one game for the Panthers in 2018, but was not targeted and did not record a stat.
